This shoe was released as part of a capsule collection with Paterson., a shoe by legendary skater "GERMAN NIEVES," an early member of ZOO YORK. It was only available in limited quantities at skate shops around the world, so many people were unable to buy it as it was sold out.
With the rise of NIKE SB and adidas SB, I've seen people on social media saying "DC is lame," but I feel like it's just a bunch of skaters who've never even done a proper skateboarding thing and are just taking advantage of the sneaker boom. We're right in the middle of American skate culture.
