After finishing Aloha Tokyo, both Bombye and POOL SIDE were taking a break.
Then, the idea of an in-store event at TOWER RECORD SHIBUYA came up. We didn't have a drum set or a keyboard amp, so we quickly put together the necessary equipment.
I never thought the day would come when I would be able to perform a live show in the heart of Shibuya.
As soon as you go up the escalator, you will see the Bombye booth.
As the in-store live performance began, familiar faces appeared here and there. Customers who had come to see Bombye and inbound tourists who happened to be stopping by watched the performance.
For them, it must be fun to be in-store at Tower Records with its iconic design and coloring.
Thanks to the arrangement of Joe, a member of Team Connect Record and floor manager at Tower Records Shibuya, they were provided with Tower Records aprons, and the handshake and autograph session that took place after the concert was sure to be a memorable one for the band as well.
