After completing all of the tour schedules, the next morning arrived.
They are returning to Hawaii on an evening flight.
The POOL SIDE team spent the morning clearing away the tour merchandise and fixtures used at the POP UP, while reminiscing. The two weeks have flown by in a flash.
Everyone first gathers at the pool side and then heads to Narita and Haneda.
Despite my sentimental mood, they seemed just as happy as ever, and they all agreed that the tour and days in Japan were the best they had ever had. It seemed like they wanted to stay in Japan for a while longer.
Two weeks had gone by so quickly, so the few hours before they left for home also flew by. Andrew and Sam were flying from Narita Airport, and Nick was flying from Haneda Airport.
The Connect Record crew gathered at Haneda Airport to see Nick off. Having spent so much time together, we didn't talk much, but we did reminisce about the days we'd spent together. Everyone seemed to have developed some emotional attachment to them.
The airport counter was extremely crowded, and it took over an hour to check in. Then, at the security checkpoint, there was the longest queue I'd ever seen. It was a goodbye that made me realize that not everything goes smoothly at special events (lol).
